AuraX Pixel Poi

AuraX Pixel Poi are fully programmable LED pixel poi designed for flow arts, stage performance, visual shows, and professional performances. Thanks to an exceptionally high resolution of 170 pixels on a light surface only 37.4 cm long, they create sharp light patterns, color transitions, effects, logos, text, and custom animations prepared in IgnisStudio.

The new AuraX2 version brings its own control system, fast Wi-Fi interface, the ability to store custom programs, multi-device synchronization, live effects, LED FX audio-reactive mode through PC, and convenient control from a phone, tablet, or computer.

📱 Control via Wi-Fi and the AuraX app

Thanks to built-in Wi-Fi, you can control AuraX Pixel Poi from your phone, tablet, or computer. The device connects to your hotspot or Wi-Fi network, and the web control interface opens through aurax.local. In the app and web interface, you can see connected devices, their IP addresses, battery status, signal strength, and switch between them easily.

At the top of the control interface, you will find simple light ON/OFF control. In the program section, you can start a prepared program with the START button, stop it with STOP, and choose which program should play. Uploaded programs can be deleted and reordered directly inside the device.

AuraX2 supports synchronization of multiple devices at once. You can start programs together, switch lights on or off, and match effects, colors, and speed within the same synchronization class. This is ideal for duo performances, groups, or combining multiple AuraX props in one choreography.

✨ Effects, colors, and LED FX

AuraX2 includes live effects that you can use without preparing a program on a computer. There are 46 light effects, 29 ready-made color palettes, and the option to create your own color combination. Colors can be selected easily using a classic color wheel.

LED FX expands AuraX2 with live audio-reactive control through a computer. With the external LED FX program, AuraX Pixel Poi can react to music in real time, so the light changes according to sound, rhythm, and music intensity. This function is available only when controlled through PC.

🎛️ IgnisStudio - custom programs matched precisely to music

You can quickly and easily program AuraX Pixel Poi in our software IGNIS STUDIO. Our goal was to create a user-friendly program where anyone can prepare their own show. You can import images, graphics, text, or logos, set your device resolution to 170 pixels, create a project name, and start building your own light choreography.

Individual images and effects can be placed on the timeline and aligned with the music track. The preview shows how the final show will look while spinning. Finished programs can be saved, edited again, shared as a project, or uploaded directly to the AuraX2 device.

The device can store custom programs, change their order, and launch them whenever needed. This allows you to prepare multiple choreographies for different performances and easily switch between them on site.

🔄 Firmware updates

AuraX2 supports firmware update notifications. This makes it easy to know when a new system version with fixes, improvements, or new functions is available. Current firmware and update information can be found on the AuraX upgrade page.

🔧 Construction

AuraX Pixel Poi are based on the proven Photon Poi concept, but use the new AuraX2 technology and a completely redesigned construction. The base of each poi is a strong and lightweight 25 mm polycarbonate tube, providing high durability, good control, and pleasant weight distribution.

The total length of one poi is 55 cm, and its weight is approximately 210 g. The light section contains 170 individually controlled pixels placed over a length of only 37.4 cm. This high pixel density makes it possible to display very fine animations, sharp patterns, text, logos, and detailed graphics.

Inside each poi is a high-capacity 3000 mAh battery. Charging is done through a modern USB-C connector, so no special charger is needed. Runtime depends on brightness, selected colors, effects, and the type of program being played.
